Pegasus, the Flying Horse from Greek mythology, is a beautiful symbol for the artist given that it is composed – welded – of countless parts and particles (screws and machine parts) similar to all those ideas that the artist has to combine to create an entity. Its construction was not without danger since it became a heavy piece that also had to be raised from the ground. After all, a Pegasus must fly. Forging the complexity into a single unit was, like a puzzle, challenging. Elevating the material manufactured by man – culture – to art is, in this case, very special.
