With the assistance of Alex Dijk and children from the Blenchi school. Government II is a piece of art by Roberto Tjon-A-Meeuw (1969) situated at the entrance to the beach. During the Open Atelier Route Curaçao 2021, school children completed the work together with Roberto. The big fish is made from plastic waste and other waste material collected on the northern coast of Curaçao. An anonymous sponsor financed this work. The artist draws attention to the endangered underwater world and the role that the government should play in protecting the environment. Government I is located in Parke Leyba in Punda.
