Ellen Elings (1956) has been living in Curaçao since 1995 and has focused primarily on making ceramics. She is originally a florist. At the Akademia di Arte, Elings studied with Krista van der Meijden, then spent some time working with Helen Martina, and from 2001-2011, worked with Ellen Spijkstra. She loves nature and lets her imagination roam free when creating.
