Wegman (1948) studied textiles and needlework, but has taught herself to design and manufacture ceramics and mosaics. Alongside her husband Rien te Hennepe, she has assembled a harmoniously composed and extensive art collection. She is constantly at work on color, form and composition, also with regard to her own work. Her Dangerous Beauty in the Sculpture Garden, composed of mosaic on driftwood, is an artfully modeled cobra that, dangerously hissing, approaches from a tree, not far from her husband’s Musica di Laman. https://youtu.be/2VWuIFXsmDY?si=madkD1To2xwAAA9Z
