Madou Lammers and Stephanie de Araujo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"66\" data-end=\"76\"><strong data-start=\"66\" data-end=\"74\">Fish<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"78\" data-end=\"586\">Madou Lammers and Stephanie de Araujo, students at Instituto Buena Bista, created the sculpture <em data-start=\"174\" data-end=\"180\">Fish<\/em>. In their work, the underwater world comes to life. Inspired by skeletons in museums and constructed from wood and metal, they designed an abstract skeleton of an orca. The pedestal, painted by Stephanie, depicts a dreamy, painted habitat of the animal. The work, which sometimes sways gently in the wind, seems to long for the distant sea \u2014 a subtle, poetic reference to life, transience, and movement.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"588\" data-end=\"621\"><strong data-start=\"588\" data-end=\"619\">Instituto Buena Bista (IBB)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"623\" data-end=\"902\">IBB is a center for contemporary art and art education in Cura\u00e7ao, supporting young talent and bridging the local context with international artistic practice.
